Scholarships are everywhere and there are endless resources. But scholarship information alone does students no good if they don’t know what to do with that information. In this day-long workshop spanning college admission, financial literacy, and exploring the different types of colleges and universities, students will participate in step-by-step guided instruction on writing their scholarship essays. By leveraging the power of stories, Gerardo believes that inspiring emotion in the reader, students are best positioned to have success. Students will wrap up the day with a draft of an essay they can use for many scholarships and admission personal statements.
